Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best
to do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
to help other people at all times;
to keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

St. Philip Neri

Troop 78 has had its flag planted here at Saint Philip Neri Parish, serving our community for many years.  Scouting has given an opportunity to our young men to try different experiences that will not be found anywhere else today, helping them to mature into confident young men.   Many of our Scouts have reached the rank of Eagle Scout - an accomplishment that represents knowledge, leadership, and skill.  Accomplishments they will carry with them for a lifetime

St. Philip Neri Yearly activities include:

monthly campouts, week-long summer camp, night hike, community service, fishing, bike riding, St. Philip Neri Fun Fair, Chabot Gun Safety/Shoot, snow camping (age 13 and 1st Class), Scouting for Food, etc.
